Alpha Protection Services was created to address the growing need for professional security staff in New Zealand, Connlan and Kieran Norton-Taylor two up and coming security consultants created the business in 2017 both ambitious Ngai Tahu businessmen. The company is proud to offer a premium security service to its clients nationwide and our head office is based in Christchurch.

Our professional security hosts are highly experienced in a variety of aspects which include identification screening, customer service meeting and greeting, conflict resolution, knowledge of relevant liquor laws and government legislation. We believe that quality service, immaculate presentation and excellent people skills are essential to your business as we are the first and last impression of the customers experience.

Connlan and Kieran Norton-Taylor founded the business in 2017 to recreate a professional image for the hospitality sector in Christchurch, all security staff hired by the business complete extensive customer service based training which has resulted in Alpha Protection upskilling all of their security professionals. The business is now a brand that is associated with employing and training the best security professionals in the New Zealand security industry.

Customer Service Hosting:

Alpha Protection Services take pride in providing our clients with professional customer service trained security hosts. Static Security Service:

With the growing need for static security professionals nationwide Alpha Protection Services expanded our service in the static sector in 2018. We currently provide well trained security professionals which are deployable with minimal notice to clients that require a higher level of professionalism.

Security Licence Training – COA and National Certificate in Security Level 2 & 3:

All security professionals are required to undertake mandatory training to obtain a Certificate of Approval to work in the security industry in New Zealand. Kieran our security trainer currently teaches the mandatory course on a fortnightly basis to in-house staff and the public.

Security Monitoring – Patrols and Alarm Response

Statistics in New Zealand show 90% of break-ins occur as moments of opportunity. Alpha Protections mobile fleet provide a physical presence to deter offenders from taking any risk often selecting an unprotected premises with lower risk.

Executive Protection:

Our executive protection team is made up of former professionals with police, government agency and military experience. All of our protection team are highly skilled with Paparazzi and Media Liaison, Close Protection Combat Trained and Certified, Ministry of Justice Licensed to carry out work in New Zealand. Our portfolio of works is available to those interested however a non-disclosure agreement is required to protect our clients privacy.

Financial Debt Recovery and Repossession Agents:

Our Agents have extensive skills in Private Investigation Field Work, Counter Surveillance Techniques, Security Consultation work including Protester Protection, and vast knowledge of the Ministry of Justice Court System including the Credit Repossessions Act 1997, Private Security Personnel and Private Investigators Act 2010 and Search And Surveillance Act 2012.
