Originally from the UK and UK Theatre School trained, I am an experienced actor now based in Christchurch. I have worked on TV, stage and film.
In my early days I was part of a comedy/mime double act and have taught mime, but my main strength is my voice. People have said they could listen to it all day! I have voiced and appeared in NZ TV commercials for Telecom NZ, Initial Homes and Hepatitis C Awareness. I have also presented many commercial DVD projects – including the NZ 2013 Census Collectors’ Training Video.
I can do a wide range of accents, including: Scottish, Irish (North and South), French, London, Yorkshire, Standard American as well as R.P.
I’ve appeared in many short films and in 2009 I won Best Actor for Christchurch in the 2009 V 48 Hour Film Competition.
Recent stage roles include: Brutus in Julius Caesar, the title role in Jeffrey Bernard is Unwell, Ray Say in Little Voice, Badger in Wind in the Willows (featuring Mark Hadlow as Toad), Edward in Someone Who’ll Watch Over Me and currently Prospero in an outdoor production of Shakespeare’s The Tempest.
Eyes: Blue (can wear contacts)
Hair: white (willing to dye/shave)
Height: 186cm
Build: Large
Up-to-date passport and clean driving licence.
I can say I have watched this man many times and found him to be a very talented person. He can carry a stage all by himself and holds the audience in the palm of his hand. Would recommend him as a box office bonanza .
