The Best Entertainment from Light Music to Dance Party
Mandi is originally from Oregon USA, but now calls Christchurch home. An experienced trained vocalist with 20+ years singing/performance experience. Mandi has toured with The Continental singers performing 96 shows in 3 months! She has also been a back up singer to Michael Crawford, fronted in a popular NZ show-band for 2 years, and sang for Prime Minister of New Zealand, Helen Clark.
Mandi is a certified vocal instructor (USA, 2004-) teaching both privately and in Christchurch schools.
In Christchurch, Mandi has performed cabaret style at The Octagon, Cathedral in the Square, and at the Christchurch Casino.
Mandi has great on stage appeal, interacting with the audience with state of the art wireless equipment. She has also fronted with the D ‘n’ D Show-band, Audio 2 Go, and Level 3 (15-piece rock band). Mandi is a ‘high energy’ front person and sure knows how to work a crowd!

RETROSONIC are different from some cover bands – one reason is that they are all very experienced musicians, and not a bunch of amateurs who just throw a few songs together on the night. Also some so called cover bands are actually 2 or 3 singer / guitarists / keyboardists who play along to ‘backing music’ – and not actually a ‘live’ band.
