ABOUT US – Aroy Thai Restaurant & Bar originally opened in July 2002 at 61 Victoria Street, Christchurch, (opposite the Casino).  For almost a decade Jamnong enriched many palattes with her delicious food.  Pad Thai and Pangeng Curry have been enjoyed by so many people locally, nationally and internationally.  Customers would often return and repeat their compliments and proudly recommend the restaurant and food to others on their departure.

Due to the Christchurch earthquakes in 2011, the restaurant sadly had to close, but reopened in 2014 on the same site with more space.

Many old and new customers have since revisited us and have been overwhelmed again with our quality of food ingredients, expertly combined yet again by Jamnong and the team in the kitchen.  On re-opening, customers were delighted we had continued to serve the same recipes that made us successful prior to the earthquakes.

SIZE – Now we are bigger we can cater for larger parties.  We can seat 80 people and we are rated for 225.  With a dedicated bar we can serve you nearly any beverage you require.  A speciality is our Thai Ice Tea.  Fully licensed and BYO.  Children friendly.

MENU – We proudly specialise in authentic Thai Food.  Our range is simply delicious.  Take Away and Home Delivery also.  Delivery Fee Applies.

Not every dish is spicy (but can be).

Our lunchtime is great for a catch up with a friend, family or business lunch.  The lunchtime menu has been described as one of the best dining bargains in the city with very satisfying proportions ($12.00).  The flavours created are absolutely delicious and your visit will be memorable.  Don’t forget to order a mouth watering dessert before you leave to top off a lovely visit.
