Founded in the late 1980’s, Wooltec is a locally New Zealand owned and operated supplier to the healthcare and aged care sector.

Wooltec was initially founded on the need from aged care and healthcare operators to have access to niche and bespoke products for their residents and patients, that sat outside of the standard industry offering.

Today, Wooltec still specialises in those custom-made products, while also having expanded their offering and network to be able to supply a wide range of industry solutions to Australasia’s largest aged care and healthcare providers.

Wooltec offers custom made products specific to individual needs. These bespoke products are designed to the specific needs of those in aged care facilities, private care sector, and those with disabilities or specialty needs. Home Healthcare:

Wooltec offers quality specialist products available for both self-sufficient and assisted living at home – with the ability for products to be sent discretely door to door. Home Healthcare products can now be ordered directly through our online store.

Manufacture of custom made products:

Wooltec specialise in the manufacture of custom made products to specific individual needs. These custom made products are designed to suit both the aged care facility, private care sector and the Unique Requirements Sector.

Product refubrishment and restoration services:

Wooltec have sourced a specialist manufacturer who is able to refurbish to as new condition all types of furniture, Lounge Chairs, Settees, Fall Out Chairs and other similar product. If the item can be repaired and recovered Wooltec may be able to restore the product to an as new condition.

Sourcing different fabrics and materials:

Wooltec is able to source a number of different fabrics for use in upholstery and also for the recovering of mattresses. The fabric used for the replacement of mattress covers is quite unique. It features Anti Bacterial qualities, Fungal resistance, Breathable and Fire Retardant qualities.
